The career path entails System administration duties including Windows Active Directory object maintenance, troubleshooting and repair tasks on Active Directory, Windows Servers, Domain Controllers, DNS (Domain Name systems) management, administration of virtualized environments, user authentication, automation of routine tasks and other operational systems as needed.
At the end of this program, the student will be equipped with knowledge, competencies and practical skills capable and responsible for managing systems infrastructure including servers, storage, storage Area Networks-SAN, operating systems, Active Directory, and virtualization. The learner is also equipped with skills that aid in planning and operations of systems infrastructure that is composed of diverse technology running on-premises servers, storage, Storage Area Networks and operating systems. Additional roles includes resolve faults on systems deployed for IT infrastructure, Implementation of security best practice including patch management of operating systems, Systems support that is not limited to availability, performance and reliability all on-premises IT systems infrastructure.
